This is continuing evidence of what effect VLN will have on smokers.Big tobacco wants us to believe that people smoke for the nicotine which is a specious argument. People like to smoke but the ones that do would like to quit or smoke less. This is why I think a smart bunch like Altria see the handwriting on the wall. The move on CRON and JUUL and the prayer on iQOS.

The value of the two big U.S. companies MO and BTI have been killed because shareholders see the FDA continuing to go after them. The only ones who don't see it are the Wall Street stooges for big tobacco and the shareholders of tobacco companies. BTI yields 8% and MO yields 6%. That and buybacks are the only things keeping the stock prices where they are.

But we will see. We file the MRTP and the FDA answers the ANPRMS we will find out how serious the owners on MO and BTI and PM are.
