Here is my problem with the Sifthouse photo.

The beds are not deep enough for a full plant. Seedlings? The beds are way too high. Processing MJ with that setup would be messy. MJ is a healthy, large plant that does not require much water. This looks like an herb garden. Sage, thyme, maybe cherry tomatoes. Easily pluckable plants that need a lot of water.

Most facilities mj farms still use individual buckets. Even really large ones. Pollination is a bad thing in the MJ world. MJ plants shoot the pollen. Some shoot farther than others. They need different amounts of space depending on the strain. Plants are kept low to the ground because efficient pruning means less clipping at the end. Which I'll get to later.

The other weed porn photos are obviously stock, but Steve doesn't tell you that. Unless of course, they've been producing amazing looking weed illegally.

The size of the operation is another concern. A family of 5 might be able to live off of that farm but it's rinky dink. You cannot generate millions off a property that size. It's a garage. Maybe it's 200 yards long?

Craft marijuana is a tedious and fallible process. Medical mj requires a nearly clean room environment and craploads of expertise. Even then, sometimes life finds a way and you lose the whole crop. Weed connoisseurs today will settle for nothing less than immaculately manicured bud. They do it by hand using magnifying glasses and clippers. It's labor intensive.

And finally, you can't go from bud to plant unless you're growing buttweed. If you plant a bud, all you'll get is a dirty bud. Bud.
