What can ever be the reason to sell shares for 2% of corporate book value?

You say in a few days we will see why- I'm saying there isn't even a theoretical way this makes sense.

If you own a business and have a book value of $10 per share are you going to allow someone to buy a piece of your business for 20 cents per share? If so, why?
