"Strategic Partnership".

If I had a penny for every time this company issued a PR containing these phrases I would be a rich man. If I had another penny for every time those "memorandums of understanding" and "strategic partnerships" came to nothing I would double my money from the first instance.

But wait. Wait. What is the go-to fanboy line in this instance? "But this time is different". Am I right? That is what fanboys say with every new announcement of a deal or a partnership.

I am now taking bets that by this time next year these 'partnerships' will have faded away and fanboys will (again, as always) conveniently have forgotten about it...
