Sounds like you are confused on how a reverse split works. A reverse split will not change anyone’s percentage ownership. All outstanding shares would be split the same way, and percentages would remain the same.

The only way to reduce outsider ownership percentage after a reverse split would be to issue new shares. If they were to issue and sell new shares after a reverse split, they would also be reducing their own percentage ownership as they own the same common shares as we do.
