Bigworld, Fwiw, I think Uber and Lyft are part of the general model for the future that the globalist UN Agenda 21/ Agenda 2030 has in mind for transportation.

The UN's stated goal is for people to eventually be concentrated in small densely packed 'human settlement zones', with mainly public transportation (trains, subways), and what cars there are will be self driving computerized drones -

At first I thought the self driving car idea was ridiculous, but turns out that is the plan, and like the climate change myth (justifying a world taxing scheme of carbon taxes, cap + trade), self driving cars will be pushed relentlessly forward and funded.

But could this technology ever be safe enough for practical use? It won't be safe until ALL vehicles on the road are self driving and controlled by a central computer system, and that is the eventually plan, as Orwellian as it sounds. As with cashless/all digital money, control over travel will be totally centralized, and if the Deep State doesn't like you, you can't travel.
