From the VMCS board....At this moment VisualMED still owns all rights to it's set of clinical modules and the medical database. VisualMED now calls itself a medical knowledge company. End 2016 Gerard Dab said: "The Quebec government has just provided 93 million dollars to one of the world's leading research fellows in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Part of the mandate for this research will be to impact the way Healthcare is managed as well as the practice of Medicine. This is a step towards the automation of Medicine. The academics have a mandate to work with the private sector. I will be meeting with this group in order to explore how we can participate in this ground breaking initiative". Last july 2018 Gerard Dab said the following: "We are looking towards teaming up with some of the vast Networks working on an artificial intelligence in Montreal which have raised almost a billion dollars from Canadian public funds."

WHAT'S NEXT:
After a long silence (2012-2017) suddenly the company comes alive, posting the annual list at the Nevada secretary of state and a reinstatement of the company per 08-31-2018.
Artificial Intelligence is the next big thing in clinical automation and Montreal is the number 1 city where it's happening. Although VisualMED has lost the battle for hospital automation,
it might still have a significant role to play by exploiting it's vast medical database that was build over the years in cooperation with McGill Medical School.
CEO Gerard Dab has a proven track record of working with some of the largest companies in the US and Canada. A new chapter in the history of VisualMED is just around the corner.
