I have a concern I need to share with everyone here about this video for those with less experience in the F&F saga. I have followed these guys for several years, enjoying their folksy analysis and largely up to date exposes that have been largely fact based and relevant.

The first really big piece they did set off a firestorm with the FDIC and recorded millions of views in the blogosphere when they dissected the IndyMac conservatorship and the deal that spun them over to One West following the implosion during the Financial Crisis. The two key players in that controversy were: Joseph Otting and Steven Mnuchin. Now guess what two key players are being widely viewed as the arbiters of F&F's RRR process. Wouldn't be the same two guys, would it?

I am not trying to scare anybody, and maybe their predictions of ruination for existing shareholders are just hyperbole and speculation. But it is also possible that some insider gifted them with real inside stuff as the basis for this latest video, knowing their past alignment against the same two key people that may soon make the call on the GSEs. I wanted to post this, last night, decided against it because I'd get labeled a basher, but then I couldn't sleep because I felt guilty for not sharing info that could be consequential for many investors here.
