With the systems getting quicker to respond, I'm thinking the use of computers to decide what to do by the large companies causes large swings? Their computers can trigger sells if they see certain criteria. The more they rely on the computers to make trading decisions for them the larger the swings we'll get. One system says sell and quickly other systems see the pps moving and make judgement calls on momentum? JMO
