He's sold the shell to crooks and run multiple scams out of it.



Not hardly. Maddox uses this as a rent-a-shell. He just splits the profits with the renter. It is like sharecropping except with a shell company harvesting investors money. Maddox never has relinquished the shell because he makes a pile off the scam.
