How do you call your product "off-the-shelf" when it requires a "thawing device"?!?!?

LOL! Simple, put the "thawing device" on the shelf, THEN, take it "off-the-shelf"! BINGO!!

Just to advance your education: it's all context sensitive. You see, in this context, "off the shelf" means it's not tailor made for each patient. There are many medications that need to be kept in the refrigerator or they come lyophilized and need to be reconstituted before use. An example would be a biologic like Vedolizumab. They're still "off the shelf"!

A counter-example would be DNA-based vaccines where an individual patient's tumor is biopsied, and the vaccine incorporates components that reflect the genetic signature of that tumor, in that patient.

CAVEAT EMPTOR, I read about that in a medical journal that accepts papers from researchers who get CONSULTING FEES!!
