Thanks for asking Gregg, and thanks for your interest.

I see electric vehicles evolving and improving over time just as other technologies will. As a plug-in hybrid, I can store inexpensive solar in my car's batteries, just as a full EV can.

I looked at several alt fuel vehicles, before choosing my BMW, including Tesla, Fiskar, Karma, Toyota and Honda . The reason I chose the i-8, is because it gave me the advantages we discussed, quiet and non-polluting in the city while on EV mode, as well as the range and fueling flexibility of a conventional vehicle.

It is nice to know that I can refuel at nearly every street corner in my town and I am able to recharge may batteries both at home and at my office.
The i-8 also gave me the performance I wanted, that the other plug-in hybrids could not.
