One might think based on the last price of 0.00005 that if one were to sell their shares at market value one would recover 50% of the original investment.

That is, until you try it and your shares sell for 0.00001, 0.000001, or 0.0000001. Might as well just keep them for sale at 0.0001, even if they never do sell. Also just think of the other potential investors who are protected by doing just that, fortunately they cannot buy shares at 0.0002 or higher so long as the ask is stacked at 0.0001 with non-AON sell orders.
