Even the Freedom Motors side of things doesn't seem to be making a lot of progress.
Eighteen months after saying that they would have convincing proof "within weeks" of the suitability of the Freedom Motors engine for working with sour gas, the assembly of a test genset is nearing completion. Who knows how long it will take to actually get it into service and get some real world information about how well it works?
They released a pile of supposedly new documents relating to the Freedom Motors rotary engine the other day. All newly formatted, and all dated 2018. But if you look at the information contained within, there aren't any references to anything from after 1998. Even the graph with all the fantastic emissions data dates from 1997, and the issue of NASA Spinoff featuring the Freedom Motors engine is from 2001. Just the same old information as before, freshly formatted. It's pretty apparent that very little (or at least, very little that they're willing to talk about) has been accomplished *recently*.
