Your post applies more to 40 million share positions but less to a smaller position. Smaller positions can keep it as simple as the 3 original rules. If your holding a huge percentage of daily traded shares then yeah, dumping 20 million shares will kill the run but if you are only trading 1-3% of daily volume then putting half of your shares up on the ask won't have much affect. Folks with these huge positions are the ones who affect these little tickers and then they say it's MMs and dilution.
