Where do we find hope? Where do we find peace? Those two questions are the questions most folks are asking themselves every single day...yes...often times even some believers...even if they somehow dont know it. In our heart and at least our subconscious...so many folks searching for hope and peace in their life in this crazy world we live in! All you have to do is look around and it dont take long to see that a good many folks have little to no hope and peace...however...there is hope and there is peace for everyone. But that hope and peace is found only in Jesus Christ. You see...when you and i accepted Jesus as our lord and savior...we were born-again to what the Bible calls a “living hope”...a hope that is not wishful thinking...but a hope that is based on the reality of God Himself...thru the power of the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. This living hope means we can persevere through trials...rough spots and even pain. This living hope means we may stumble and fall sometimes...but we will not fail completely because we are in Jesus Christ. And this living hope means we have a future that is sure and that we arent alone as we walk this earthly path...and...the peace God gives us when we accept Jesus is a peace that the unsaved world can never know. It means that we can enjoy the serenity of a peaceful heart no matter what happens to us. Jesus told us in John 16:33...“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world." So...where is the hope? Where is the peace? That comes only from a personal relationship Jesus Christ and thru our surrender and obedience to Him! Have you invited Jesus into your heart? My prayer is that you will experience that hope and peace in your heart and mind today….and...everyday! And if you know Jesus...embrace Him and the hope and peace that He offers! Y'all have a most awesome and blessed weekend!
