Under the agreement, Aratana paid Advaxis $1 million up front and made an equity investment of $1.5 million into Advaxis common stock and warrants. Aratana will also pay up to $6 million as the products reach certain clinical and regulatory milestones as well as $28.5 million as the products hit various commercial milestones.

So basically Aratana has lost 2.5 million already before paying out. Would be interesting to know when they are going to make a profit as their EPS has been ever negative.
