If this company was an active scam, they wouldn’t sit around and watch it and circle around it and muse out loud about whether to do something about it or not

They will freaking storm into the offices, confiscate paperwork, make arrests, halt trading, etc. etc.

Even at the end of the complaint, the prosecutors are not asking for the trading to halt or for the company to be shut down, the worst thing they are asking for is to kick Rik out and for the company to pay penalties.
