Yes, to my knowledge the company still has the intellectual property. Unfortunately the market in the USA and Europe was flooded with cheap panels from China. So why save production costs with thin solar film when Chinese panels are thrown after you at dumping prices? The future now is to develop intelligent energy storage systems that are also connected to the public power grid.
To put it simply: not only save energy costs through solar energy, but also earn additional money by feeding excess energy into the public grid or storing it in batteries (or other storage systems).
