In many parts of the US, CVS has taken to going in on another corner in the same busy intersections as Walgreens is located, or right across the street from a Walgreens. I like to drive by and count the cars in the parking lots at the competing locations. I even notice this when I am traveling in the US. Walgreens always has way more cars and customer traffic as far as I can tell. And, the last couple of times I tried to pick up a prescription in the drive through lanes at our local Walgreens, both lanes were backed up like 6-7 cars each,so I went inside and there were lines to pick up prescriptions in there too.
