I don't think doing a quarterly call is a burden. They go through the preparatory exercise to write the earnings press release and the 10-K/10-Q anyways, so what's the incremental burden to hold a one hour call? There's no excuse not to unless they're knee deep in financing and M&A discussions. That said, they could always say "no comment" during the call if there's a question that can't be answered.
I think Anshu has done a big disservice to shareholders by not holding a call since September 2017. I hope he rectifies that soon.
