Hey J..(Dan),
A bit over a month ago I was pretty glum but it does appear we have gained some traction here. Dan (CEO Dan) has been really busy and while I have not spoken with him in a few weeks we were still in the game last I talked to him.
Pretty much everything previously discussed was still on the table and in some cases circling around to possibilities again. Jobs are closer to starting and even India was not out of the loop yet.
His mood seems to be a bit better and the fact that he was in Belize at all might mean something went well.
As others have pointed out, global climate change concerns have never been higher. And there appears to be some money to fund some of the Caribbean jobs. Also investor groups seemed to have been more a matter of delays then "not interested" and I think that is getting closer.
If funding does come in it might be quiet as things are resolved in the background but we should be able to tell some things from Impact's releases and job starts etc.
I strongly believe Dan is in the same position we are wanting this to work out due to stock investments (which I suspect are higher than the official tally last report) and possible personal loan guarantees.
The team has worked extremely hard and has been all over the world. Given the macro environment out there now, I give him a good chance of getting this done. The tricky part as I mentioned before is getting it done before the economy collapses which seems to be near. However they will be somewhat sheltered by being mostly international and long term job projects.
