This suit seems to have been frivolous, vexatious and entirely without merit. It didn’t require the judge to have a bullshit detector turned up to 11 to spot that. It will be interesting to see what repercussions the plaintiffs face. They’ll have to stump up the company’s legal costs and damages, I assume, and I gather there is the possibility of charges being brought by the Feds with horrible penalties. Maybe it’s time for them to get the Hell outta Dodge.
I have to wonder, why on earth would the plaintiffs be this stupid? And what was their attorney thinking? The first thing any litigation attorney worth the name does is check whether his client’s alleged claim is time-barred so he doesn't make a fool of himself or expose his client to risk.
Over to you, Walhall. What do you want to torment our long-suffering shareholders with next? As for the plaintiffs and any “puppetmaster” (sarcasm) behind them, “Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive.”
