You're almost correct. I wrote that the defendants had a short time left to file their appeal. By the way, I wrote that last Thursday, and it was posted before Skunk posted the same information on his blog. Thank you, Skunk, for reading what I wrote and realizing that the 40-day court-ordered deadline was approaching.

The share price of any stock with a low amount of trading volume is more responsive to the whims of the few people who have an active interest in those stocks. IMHO, that's the reason why there was some short-term volatility in PEIX stock. The institutional investors in PEIX and other stocks that don't have a lot of trading volume can afford to ignore it.
