Back then we were working on developing our own mining device, for sale to consumers .. A set of ASICS and SoC designs that would power heaters, set-top boxes and devices for data centres. Certain Spectra7 technologies were a great fit for our plans. In fact, we were also looking at acquiring other hardware startups.

Of course that was when investment banks and funds were literally jumping over each other to work with any venture in the blockchain space, at very high valuations ... times have changed and we have adapted to the new reality of the markets. We are not scared of change and the zig and zags required to survive ever changing business environments.

Having said that, I am still very bullish on Spectra7's technology. As 5G takes hold and video content continues its exponential growth rate, I think solutions like Spectra7 are bound to have a good future.

I don't believe hardware mining devices are the future of blockchains nor ventures that continue pursuing this business.

AMMBR is a company we have been close with for a long time, I've been an advisor to them since before BLOC actually. I believe they have managed to weather the test of time during this sobering up of the crypto markets and they will be a hardware company and one of the very few blockchain companies that the market will remember many years from now.
