Expect someone to say that this was not the fault of the bot but of the doctor and reps who were there to assist. It is relevant though being that training on the DaVinci is a much more lengthy and arduous process. Senhance opperates more in line with what lap surgeons are already trained in/used to. Training for Senhance is a smoother process therefore the likelyhood of this kind of incedent happening is reduced. Proper training has been an ongoing problem with DaVinci as noted by recent reporting such as in the documentary “The Edge”.
