we went on these tours as did our PE/VC partners. after a DOZEN of these tours our extended network of "back checkers" in the PRC and HK were shocked that when they tries to get business lined up for SIAF for prawns, using other portfolio companies, the "management" was also incapable of shipping product!!!
it's common for our VC/PE partners to try and boost their own companies by arranging business with a potential investment opportunity. not surprisingly, they cant deliver because they dont produce!
if google-maps were magical proof of "ownership" we could just post a view from google-earth and claim squatters rights.
reality is far more difficult and indeed.... they own nothing, produce nothing, claim assets via third parties and that's the model. the end!
