Why would it be illegal for the CEO of a company to comment on another company?

Ford CEO and Tesla CEO trade barbs back and forth all the time.

Inappropriate, ok, thats subjective, but illegal, no its not.

Also, I'm not sure the comment was only directed at Namaste, but certainly
was aimed at companies behaving like Namaste.

Namaste being way overhyped and as Texans might say"
"All hat, no cattle"

... and commenting on the behavior of competing companies and CEOs is
most certainly not illegal.
