Bomba, long time no see. I use Fidelity also, and the software does indeed let you choose which lot to sell. However, I seem to recall that the tax reform law eliminated the ability to use anything but FIFO (or was it LIFO?) to calculate the capital gain/loss. If so, choosing a lot makes no difference.
