Dear Where's Waldo-Baldo, for every Banana Republic in South America it takes probably 10 years to graduate from raw materials exporter to value-added manufacturer exporter of fully (or near fully) goods/gadgets once you have properly kissed Alpha-Dog China's or the USA's ass which you are nowhere near finishing in Sebastian's first term. Chile is probably 2 years graduated from being a Banana Republic which means it will take another 8 years to reach the intelligence/capability/cooperation level to be a value-added manufacturer of copper or lithium based goods/gadgets. In the case of lithium which is of interest to us tax-paying Maricunga peasants here Chile's UNHELPFUL current policy of keeping privateers suppressed in tons of red tape (click here for today's "suppression" example) will dilute our ability to add to the Chilean GNP in 2026 simply because EV cars will no longer need lithium because they will be powered by mini-nuclear energy packs.

In 8 more years you will be dead from old age and miss seeing your life's short-sighted work appreciate... just look at your picture. You look like death warmed over with some terminal disease and will barely make it back from China. Would it kill you to shave once in a while so you don't always look like some embarrassing haggard bum beggar representing us?

Yes, in 2026 EV cars will still need 4 times the amount of copper a regular gas powered car needs but the lithium need will be decreased. You need to wake up and realize you are pissing away Chile's opportunity to cash in on the whole lithium cash-cow/golden-goose with your delusional hope to manufacture lithium components in Chile... you can't compete with China and you never will. All that happy face lip service you are getting from the Chinese in Shanghai today is just that... lip service.

If you were smart you would start Chile's universities/colleges on perfecting the mini-nuclear packs needed for EVs beyond 2026 now and quit worrying about building copper or lithium goods/gadgets/toys for export before 2026... that train has already left town and you along with Sebastian missed it thanks to Michele Bachelet.
