Former speaker John Boehner who once said he was “unalterably opposed” to decriminalizing marijuana., recently wrote the following in Wall Street Journal:

“A Gallup poll last month found 66% of Americans favor legal marijuana. I am now one of those Americans. The trend could not be clearer: Cannabis prohibition is coming to an end.”

Politico magazine calls it “Legal Marijuana’s Big Moment.”

Washington Post reports, “President Trump has promised… that he will support congressional efforts to protect states that have legalized marijuana.”
