Yes, only this time they aren't chasing rainbows. They are manufacturing them themselves. And this one has pots of gold on both ends.

Alexion recently bought Syntimmune for $1.2 Billion because of their FcRn antagonist drug SYNT001. This is a competing drug among 5 others in the space. The leader as far as trial timeline is concerned is Argenix's ARGX-113. But the one to watch is M281. It is by far the best in class. It is a blocking agent that is showing the best result as far as taking down IgG levels- the one objective that these drugs aim to attain. M281 takes down IgG to the minimum theoretical level. The others can't because of toxicity issues.
