Multi-unit dish in urban areas with fast internet (like, uh, SF) is going the way of the dodo bird, as people drop non-internet cable and satellite and are going to streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, etc.

There is nothing butt negative growth in urban multi-unit dish in high-speed internet urban areas like San Francisco. Superfast internet requires a cable connection. Most cable companies bundle a cheap TV service with the internet. Satellite can't match cable internet speeds or response times - ergo it's dying ~OUTT in urban areas with ultrafast cable internet available ... like ... umm ...San Francisco.

Maybe in Tehran, where dishes are illegal unless government-authorized...

... butt the 70+ year-old guy from Redding and the 85 year-old guy from Grass Valley have two negative growth, old-tech companies that are dying (in SIML's case, in agonal respiration phase already).

Old guys with old tech looking for a way to cash ~OUTT before the cigar butt has no more puffs in it. Both are being killed by digital streaming and high-speed internet, plus cable companies throwing in discount TV to bundle with their internet service - killing sats in modern cities like SF.

Ain't no growth here - just two sinking rocks glued together, like John Quinn said.

Oh, an one more thang. Most places in DaBayArea have internet service at the 50-150 Mbps for residential service. Anything above 15 to 20 Mbps will allow peeps to stream 4K service for viewing on the 4K TVs. Satellite can't serve 4K service, and barely can eke ~OUTT a handful of old-line HDTV on their limited bandwidth (and they charge more for that).

Modern people in SF have 4K TVs and have for a few years now - an they are increasingly cutting the cable (TV) and the satellite and going 100 percent streaming. If they do keep cable TV, it's only because it's cheap when bundled with cable high-speed internet and phone. Again, satellite can't compete and is getting less competitive every day.

Two old geezers - one from Redding and one from Grass Valley - with dying companies - looking to cash ~OUTT before the pine box.

Nothing here for investors.
