In the fall of 2017, ERHC BVI terminated the Agreement with the IOC. Dissatisfied with the termination, the IOC instituted arbitration at the ICC

Why would any IOC spend a dime on a, by some on the internet, worthless block?

Let alone: many dimes? People/companies always have a 'goal' when working towards something…

Either they want that block, or they want ERHC 'dead'.

But why...? Why is that worth it, them spending money and some time on this goal?

ERHC BVI believes in the strength of its case and its allegations but it is important to note that they are subject to being proved before and upheld by an arbitral tribunal. The outcomes of dispute resolution in the nature of a contested arbitration such as that between ERHC BVI and IOC cannot be predicted with certainty.

And for that matter: Why would ERHC mind that they feel confident about the case? They hardly exist anymore… (do they want to put up a 'show' for as long as possible, for the Ihub-crowd maybe?
