Neither option appears to me to be immediately tenable.
I have taken heavy investment hits over the last two weeks on many long term equities including Apple, BRK and Cheniere that I have held for years. Now I must decide if either F&F commons or JPS represent a better reward or a worse risk with some enlarged position and a potential recoup of what, so far, has been paper losses on long term buy and hold positions.
I am an investor, not a trader, but I will post my decision on F&F whenever I reach it. I had planned to add a major FNMA position in December with tax loss selling. Now I am vacillating.
