I know. But I keep thinking of that night when Dan was in San Francisco competing for $2 million. I was watching when he said that he had $400 million coming from the Haiti project and the panel of people had some that just rolled their eyes (and I just gagged)! Clearly they wondered what the hell Dan was doing there for $2 million when he just announced he was going to get $400 M. That illustrates my point perfectly. Dan can get in front of appropriate people and screw the whole thing up because he has no idea what the hell he is doing or saying. He repeatedly uses big dollar numbers thinking that impresses folks when, in fact, he brings in NO dollars from doing that. It has greatly jeopardized his credibility and will continue to do so. You (and I) have spoken often of the solution and yet Dan will NOT approach it.
So I am worried that he could be in front of many of the right people with the highest likelihood being he will screw it up because he is not focused on what he really needs to do to succeed. That can only be because he has no awareness of what is good for business.
