Recent plunge was a perfect storm of historically unprecedented plunging global oil prices (11 down days in a row. Oy), overall stock market correction and momentum investors dumping after relatively soft (but otherwise still great) earnings report.

The fundamentals for TPL remain totally sound. This will climb back up over next year. Especially once the bigger dividend payments materialize. Don't forget there's 300 new wells underway that will start to pay off a year or so. And new pipeline completed to distribute it.
Company owns the land outright and has no debt.
