Because there are many that want nothing to do with any type of drugs other that prescription subscribed by a Dr. Marijuana is a gateway drug that often leads to much more deadly things. And if it wasn't addictive people wouldn't pay so much for it or commit robberies to get money to buy it. For many it's more of a moral issue than an investment issue.

Remember that when someone tries to convince you to buy or sell there is something in it for them. It's not because they are concerned about your investment.
