not surprising- many retail stores have no idea what they are doing beyond the issued "standard corporate program" marching orders, have under-qualified on-site store management, bare minimum employees, do not know how to leverage new technologies to increase both margin and customer experience, and, eventually fail / close up.

Take a cue from walmart and other leading big box stores this black friday. They are deploying extra staff on the floor with new "hand held gizmos" to assist customers with locating items and expediting purchases.

I use the term "hand held gizmo" for simplicity as I don't want to confuse you with explaining new and emerging tech in the retail setting.

RETC is poised to do very well with companies that do understand what it means to evolve the retail business model.
