To add on to this....

Take a look at this post, this could be the problem.

Let's say I am person A and borrow SIAF shares from Person B and sell them to person C. Which means I am short.

On the ex-date person C will get the TRW dividend shares. But person B is also entitled to the dividend which means I will have to pay him $1.26 in cash.

But what about the 2nd part of the distribution? Person C will get the additional shares credited to his "account" some time next year on the 2nd pay date. But how about person B? I will have to pay him another $0.26 per share in cash. But when? And how do I know?

The Oslo exchange has it covered because they already gave us the details on Oct 8.

But not FINRA. Which leads me to believe that they will have to address both distributions when they announce the ex-date. Either that, or we will get a separate record date and ex-date for the 2nd part. Something to keep an eye on I think when they make the announcement.

$1.26 or $1.52. Still a significant difference.
