BOCA RATON, Fla., Nov 02, 2006 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Reality Racing, Inc. (OTC Pink Sheets: RRGI) President Lee F. Schaefer announced today that on November 16, 2006 Reality Racing -- The Rookie Challenge will hold a special event at the Bank Atlantic Arena, in Sunrise, Florida, prior to the Panthers hockey game against the Montreal Canadiens. A few lucky people will have the opportunity to join the hopefuls selected from the national contestant search that ended in September.
In addition to selecting a few more hopefuls for the new TV show Reality Racing -- The Rookie Challenge, Glenn Allen, Jr., (1996 NASCAR(R) Busch Series Rookie of the Year) will be on hand to meet, greet and sign autographs.
People selected on November 16th, 2006 and during the national contestant search will be invited to appear before a panel of judges in the upcoming finals that will determine who will appear on Reality Racing -- The Rookie Challenge. More than 15,000 racing fans applied to be contestants on Reality Racing -- The Rookie Challenge, an innovative reality TV show that places fifteen male and female contestants in the driver's seat as they race to compete for national media exposure, a cash award, a gold championship ring and the opportunity to drive professionally in a sanctioned professional race.
Reality Racing, Inc. President Lee F. Schaefer said, "Our new reality show has created an incredible degree of excitement. Between investors, sponsors, fans and the more than 15,000 applications we received before the September deadline, we know that as soon as the first season is wrapped up we will begin the process for Season II of Reality Racing -- The Rookie Challenge."
Reality Racing -- The Rookie Challenge promises to be an action-packed 13-week TV series and is scheduled to air in 2007. Contestants will be mentored and judged along the way by some of stockcar racings biggest legends like Bobby and Donny Allison, Cale Yarborough, Rusty Wallace and Junior Johnson.
