With the benefit of history, I believe that they are scared witless that any commitment to datelines et al could come back and bite them. However, the Company needs to communicate far more effectively with its stakeholders and it can do that without pinning itself down to precise deadlines. Currently, we are all totally bemused that the pps has not moved as a result of the granting of permits. The admirable Gikas has stated that there are malign forces out there manipulating the pps. He confirmed what I had gathered from another contact, namely that it appeared to come from some form of electronic trading, rather than traditional brokers. OK, so what are the Company doing about it? Is it softening for a takeover, or just global mischief? The peculiar trading patterns of the last few days alone would, I believe, provide enough evidence to bring in the SEC. I cannot speak for others, but individually would value some reassurance.
