I Googled it once and found a bushel of info...

Sounded like quite a common practice.

Can't quite recall what the search terms I used were....

Seems ridiculous (but not surprising) that a TD rep wouldn't be familiar with it.

Could've asked them to speak with a "higher-up" ?
