Tuesday September 16, 9:00 am ET

BATON ROUGE, La.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 16, 2003--Air-Q Wi-Fi Corporation (OTCBB: AQWF - News), a Wi-Fi (wireless fidelity) Internet access provider, announced today that it has opened up the second four of its Q-Spot(TM)-brand Wi-Fi hot spots of its planned Baton Rouge, LA, Wi-Fi network for public use and company testing. These Q-Spots represent an addition to Air-Q's existing Wi-Fi service in the Corporate Boulevard/College Drive area of Baton Rouge. This network segment is designed to provide service to an area directionally opposite from the area covered by the first network segment. This newest segment of Air-Q's network will be available to Wi-Fi users able to avail themselves of Air-Q's high-speed wireless Internet service free of charge. After this promotional and test period, users will continue to be able to use Air-Q's Wi-Fi network at normal rates.
"Our progress so far is very exciting and encourages us to continue to vigorously pursue our Wi-Fi plans," said David Loflin, Air-Q's president. "We continue to believe that the Wi-Fi 'hotspot' landscape is marked with opportunity towards which we continue to strive."

A Q-Spot, or hot spot, in Air-Q's Wi-Fi system is a transmission point that is connected directly to the Internet, either through a telephone line or cable television fiber, through which users' data travels. In Baton Rouge, Air-Q's Q-Spot will be tied directly to the Internet through the network of the local cable provider.
