I think the shareholders had a better chance of making money back when this was Global Platinum & Gold - exploring "unconventional" desert dirt gold ore that didn't fire assay, and later recovering gold from mine waters, via a process that required adding gold to the process.
People would be entertained, they could dream, and the stock price would rise and fall. Shares were not created out of thin air to fund "Green Koolaid" runs to the liquor store!
