Slippery_bad boy_China_keeping the_price of_cobalt_artificially low_again, tsk_tsk.

Mr Tony Sage said if one of his companies, Cape Lambert Resources (ASX:CFE), were to do a deal for its cobalt (today) it would be asking for more than the spot price. “We won’t be asking for US$65,000 a tonne, we’ll be asking for US$75,000 or US$80,000 for a long-term sale”.

Ohhhh that Xi Jinping is so cute. Don't ya just want to pinch his precious little chubby dimpled baby cheeks? I got a feeling that after the December 23, 2018 presidential election in DRC that things are going to get a lot more transparent and above-board when it comes to cobalt pricing/supply/take-off agreements... and you all know that China never does well when things get transparent and everyone (esp Frontline/BBC/CNN undercover reporters with their tiny hidden cameras) begins to see the bright(er) light of day shine in on their smokey backrooms (and their hidden illicit cobalt collection mini-depots in the jungles).
