As I stated in my post #47633, one of the links in the Op-Ed is an October 9, 2018 Wall Street Journal article that says that this investment in wood (plant trees now and harvest some timber later) has not been a good investment. The link to this WSJ article is in the first paragraph of the Op-Ed.
The words in this Op-Ed aren't the opinion of The Hill. That's a typical disclaimer. IMHO, the only reason why this Op-Ed is interesting to this board is because the Attis CEO wrote it.
Also INHO. it was appropriate for The Hill to avoid writing about this topic because investments, whether in wood or any other kind of investment, aren't the typical subject that The Hill writes about. They usually write about political issues, not financial investments.
