Because, when we were forced down endless shares were being used to stack the bids. Not even flippers would have had enough shares to carry out all the mass sell offs we saw. A naked short shares are phantoms as don't ever exist in first place.. No different then government just printing money not backed up. Brokers like NITE have been guilty of stealing billions this way yet got like laughable slap on wrist fine.. I guess they are back to their old ways..
