2020? That's what? About 2 years away? Hmmmmmm.....now where have I heard that before? Now I remember! Everything at Moller's companies is always 2 years away! Starting at least as far back as 1976. Glad to see the new CEO fits in so well with the company culture.

As for the '5% to 30% of every sale'... One, they can easily change that if they want. Two, it would be downright stupid to pour the turnover from a fledgling company into another business. They will sink FM. If Freedom Motors ever get to the point of actually producing and selling engines (which they wont imo), it will likely be years before they turn a profit. Only then would it be safe to give MI it's (paper created) dues. VC companies(or any company/person financing a venture) are looking for a return on their investment. They don't give away money for free. But why am I even going on about this? Explaining basic business sense to a Moller fan is like explaining it to a brick wall.

Chew on this...Dr Paul S Moller has had a good life. I am pretty sure he has not gone 'hungry' one day since leaving his teaching job at the university. I've seen videos of him driving around in dirt buggies and stuff on his farm. His quality of life seems a bit better that that of the average person. At least my view of the average person. Yet, apart from his Supertrapp business that was successful which he sold decades ago, he's been living off other peoples money for decades. His businesses aren't producing anything, his businesses aren't selling anything.

Now, imagine you are told of a man who makes a living from relieving investors of large sums of money by telling them he is on the verge of some big breakthrough that will make them rich. Imagine you hear this man has been doing it for decades and his investors has never seen a penny of the promised returns. What would you call such a man?
