Definitely. I don't know if Oslo matters much, but defintely the record date. As I said before, FABU dropped 50% one day after the record date. But that one was more problematic. It was a grey sheet stock, almost no liquidity, the forum was practically dead, and there was simply no time after the press release came.

But even if a small percentage believes that the ex-date has passed, it can have a substantial effect on the share price.

You could have traded this, the past few days. But the problem is, what if the company or FINRA comes out with a statement? And you can't take any chances with the stock dividend. All you can do is hold until the 15th and be certain that you qualify.
